Oleh kerana masjid sebagai sebuah institusi yang begitu berpengaruh maka kita lahirkan modul latihan untuk kesemua kariah masjid di Pulau Pinang dengan kerjasama USM dan juga Majlis Syura Agama Islam Pulau Pinang.Semua pengerusi-pengerusi kariah masjid seluruh Pulau Pinang wajid mengikuti modul latihan ini sebelum pelantikan jawatan mereka.

Peruntukan sebanyak RM20Juta untuk pengambilan balik tanah bagi pembesaran tapak perkuburan Islam berhampiran Masjid Jelutong yang sekian lama tidak dapat diselesaikan. YIPP kini mencari individu yang berkelayakan untuk memenuhi kekosongan jawatan seperti di bawah:

Peperiksaan Bertulis Penguasa Kastam WK1-1 - Panduan Untuk Lulus

Baru-baru ini ramai yang terima surat panggilan untuk peperiksaan Penguasa Kastam pada 4 Februari 2012 nanti. Ada yang bertanya mengenai jawatan Penguasa Kastam dengan skim gred baru WK1-1. Ianya adalah jawatan yang harus melalui peperiksaan penilaian yang sama seperti Pegawai Tadbir Diplomatik dan lain iaitu 3 tahap;

1. Peperiksaan bertulis
2. Assessment center
3. Temuduga

Tiada ambilan terus melalui temuduga. Harus melalui semua peringkat penilaian. Antara tugas-tugas seorang penguasa Kastam ialah (daripada edaran rasmi SPA);

• Memperjeniskan barang-barang mengikut tarif-tarif, membuat taksiran harga bagi pungutan duti kastam/cukai jualan, memproses serta meluluskan permohonan pengimportan/pengeksportan barang-barang berduti tertakluk kepada larangan-larangan import/eksport di pintu-pintu masuk/keluar negara, Zon-zon Bebas Cukai dan Gudang-gudang Berlesen.

• Memproses permohonan lesen gudang-gudang eksais, gudang-gudang berlesen, gudang-gudang pengilangan berlesen.

• Mengaudit akaun syarikat-syarikat yang dilesenkan di bawah akta-akta Cukai Jualan dan Cukai Perkhidmatan untuk pungutan cukai jualan/perkhidmatan.

• Memproses permohonan mendapatkan pengecualian cukai jualan, memeriksa stok dan penggunaan barang-barang berduti syarikat-syarikat yang mendapatkan pengecualian duti kastam, memproses permohonan remisi cukai, menyelia tugas pemeriksaan penumpang dan menjalankan siasatan ke atas syarikat/individu yang melakukan penyelewengan/penyeludupan dan bertindak sebagai Pegawai Pendakwa bagi kes-kes kastam di Mahkamah dan menjalankan lain-lain tugas penguat kuasaan

Bagaimana pula dengan persediaan untuk peperiksaan Penguasa Kastam ini? Persediaan yang sama seperti peperiksaan bertulis yang lain dengan format yang tidak jauh bezanya. Ianya merangkumi;

SPACE operation was extended to UTM International Campus in Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur. SPACE offered the first batch of 30 students doing their Master's degree in Transportation Planning under the Out Campus Part Time Study Programme (now known as Part-Time Study Programme (PSM) in 1993.This was followed by the enrolment of 36 students studying their master in Gas Engineering in 1994.

At the same time, 433 students were offered certificate course and offer short courses, seminar and workshops were also conducted by SPACE. From 1995/1996 academic session, the academic programmes through Part-time Study Programme (PSM) has been extended in terms of the number of programmes as well as the number of student intake and learning centres. At present, PSM programmes for Bachelor Degree and Diploma are being carried out at 15 learning centres all over the country. The students' enrollment has exceeded 5000.
